 There was no role for me on the way back.

I’ve been getting dragged around this whole time.

Did she maybe open a door that really shouldn’t have been opened? This woman.

She must’ve had a great time, because even after we left the dungeon and returned to the mansion, she was in a great mood the entire way.

"You're in quite the good mood. Did something happen?"

We were in Seriana’s room for the report when Elena, seemingly curious about her expression, asked her that.

By the time we got back to the mansion, she seemed back to normal, but maybe when you’ve known someone long enough, you can tell the difference?

"Yes. As for 【Green Fang】, it felt wonderful to use in actual combat! With this, not only the middle levels but also the lower ones and other areas should be no problem."

"That’s good to hear. Sera, I’ll listen to Elena’s report, so you go fetch Alec. He should be at the training grounds. You’re coming to the room too, alright?"

"Hm? Sure thing."

I get sending the two of them… but me too?

What’s this about?

"You can go out through the window."

Just as I was about to leave the room, she said that.

I mean, I am floating in the air, so I’ve been told I could come and go through the window as I please, but it always felt a bit off, so I’ve been using the door.

This gives me quite the sense of rebellion.

The training grounds are in a corner of the courtyard, and if you go there normally from Seriana’s room, which is at the far end of the second floor, you have to make your way through the mansion, then cross the garden—a pretty long trip. But through the window, I just need to go straight over the roof.

So I hop out the window, accelerate instantly, and head for the training grounds. It doesn’t even take a minute.

Yeah… I’m definitely using the window from now on.

"Alec!"

There were about ten people using the training grounds, but he stood out because of his size, so he was easy to find.

"Hm? You’re already back?"

"Elena went wild, you see… The young lady is calling you, so come to the room."

"I see. Tell her I’ll head over after I clean myself up."

"Yeah, yeah."

I saw Alec off as he headed toward the barracks.

I’ve never been in there, but apparently it has showers and a dining hall and stuff.

I’ve been called too, so I guess I don’t need to follow him.

Time to head to the room.

A bit over ten minutes after I arrived at Seriana’s room, Alec showed up.

When I got there, Elena was still talking, but she seemed to have calmed down now and was standing quietly behind Seriana.

And I was stretched out on the sofa, reading a book.

The title was “The History of the Great Forest Alliance.”

It covers the formation of four nations, including the Mesaria Kingdom, and it’s actually pretty interesting.

The geopolitical and power balance issues are the same, but with the involvement of elements like monsters and Holy Coins—things that don’t exist on Earth—the events take unexpected turns.

Would be nice if I could get access to the library...

"Sorry, I’m late."

"It’s fine. Sera, you come here too."

I know Alec stayed behind to talk yesterday, and I assume it was about the Blessed Items or maybe about me.

Should I just talk about impressions of the dungeon and how well we coordinated?

"Sera, how was the dungeon yesterday and today?"

"No problems. I can’t say for sure about going much deeper, but the shallow levels were easy."

"I see. Elena?"

"Yes. As Alec reported yesterday, he’s managing to combine the two Blessed Items well and fight with composure. The performance of the 【Floating Orb】 also exceeded our expectations. He doesn’t seem to have hit his limits yet, and at the very least, there’s no danger as long as it’s just the shallow levels."

Oh, that’s a pretty solid evaluation, isn’t it?

Alec seemed surprised by Elena’s report.

When I looked at Seriana, who’d asked the question, she was watching Alec’s stunned face with a satisfied look.

She must’ve already gotten the report while I wasn’t paying attention.

But still… what is this meeting about?

They hinted at it earlier, but are they saying I can act independently?

 As I sighed and raised the Holy Coin, a sudden drum roll began to play. And then—the reel started spinning at an incredible speed.
