 “Alex, Elena, do you two realize it?”

The two standing nearby exchanged glances at the sudden words.

“…Realize what?”

“There’s a person who has been wandering around the garden since midnight the day before yesterday.”

She said this while getting closer to the window and looking down at the garden.

‘⁉’

They were merely bodyguards and not responsible for the security of the mansion.

However, even so, they kept in contact with the soldiers and were informed of both guests coming to the mansion and any suspicious individuals within the territory.

The intrusion occurred the day before yesterday.

And yet, there had been no reports whatsoever.

Even though there were dogs in the garden, no disturbances had occurred.

It doesn’t make sense to invade and do nothing, and it’s hard to believe...

If they are planning an assassination or a kidnapping, it would be a very dangerous situation.

However, it doesn’t seem like that’s the case.

“Is that person a human, not a monster?”

Occasionally, flying monsters might invade the city.

She declared and left the room, heading outside, with the two following after her.

When she had roughly mapped out the positions and security state from the night before and the day before yesterday, and was writing that information down on a map, a voice suddenly echoed through the 【Hideout】, and she couldn’t help but yell out in surprise.

Trying to check the situation outside, she turned on the monitor and saw three figures.

One was a tall, muscular man in his mid-20s with black hair.

They were strong…

The second was a tall, slender woman in her twenties with brown hair.

The third was a girl, around 15 or 16 years old, with blonde hair and an air of authority, wearing expensive-looking clothes, accompanied by the two others.

She believed this was the daughter of the family.

She had seen her get off a carriage yesterday.

Anyway, they were hiding in the 【Hideout】 at the far end of the mansion, a place where people wouldn’t normally come, but they had come all the way here.

“I know you've been wandering around the garden since the night before yesterday.”

It was completely obvious that they had been spotted...

She had been able to hear the voice while observing the situation outside through the monitor, but when the switch was off, she couldn’t hear the voice.

Maybe the voice could be heard when called from in front of the door...?

So, here we are today.

After calling out yesterday, the girl had quickly returned to the mansion, but the two of them had kept watch, alternating between them the whole time.

Even though it had gotten much colder, they had kept watch all night.

Thanks to that, they had missed their chance to escape.

She had gotten sleepy at some point and slept for a while, but when she woke up and checked during breakfast, she confirmed that the two of them had been keeping watch, so she was sure that was the case.

Today, they had brought only the two of them and hadn’t brought any soldiers.

Well, it’s possible that these two alone were strong enough to make up for the lack of numbers... or rather, maybe it was just them?

She was starting to feel a bit uneasy, but there was no point in just hanging on here.

She slipped on the 【Shadow Sword】 and took her seat on the 【Floating Orb】, ready to move.

She remained cautious, but she decided to think of it positively, considering that she had connected with some VIPs.

 As I sighed and raised the Holy Coin, a sudden drum roll began to play. And then—the reel started spinning at an incredible speed.
