Gather Divine Coins and Gacha! - Chapter 271

Since it was rainy season, everyone had refrained from outdoor activities, so it had been a little while.

Right now, Alec was reporting about a meeting that took place at the Adventurers' Guild during the day.

But, the Hunter's Guild, huh.

When we clashed in the forest, I was told to yield to the hunters, but as a member of the lord’s side, I didn't really think about it much. It seems the adventurers weren’t on good terms with them.

From what I've heard, it seems like the adventurers were at fault, and I believe that’s true.

It’s good that it was resolved.

“Hunters, huh… Zighart, is it difficult even for you?”

After Alec finished his report, Fiora asked Zighart in a somewhat casual manner.

“It’s difficult. I can track monsters, but humans… especially those trying to hide. I think other adventurers would find it the same. We’re tracking monster traces, not observing forest anomalies. …Seria, could you track them?”

I was listening and thinking, and the conversation turned towards me.

Searching for people in the mountains or forest...

“No way! I wouldn’t have confidence in dealing with attacks from the air.”

Safety always comes first for me.

“Right. There’s no need for you to strain yourself. We’re aiming for this place anyway.”

Seriana said this and stood up from her seat, moving forward.

I feel a bit sorry for Alec, who went out of his way to attend the meeting in the rain and report here, but he’s just the opening act; the main event is here.

“Before we start talking, let’s change the location. Seria, please take everyone to the back.”

“Sure!”

As I moved to the wall in response, Zighart, Fiora, and Teresa looked puzzled, wondering about the back.

“Is there a hidden room?”

“Well, never mind. Everyone, come this way.”

Though the three looked skeptical, they followed Seriana and the other three who had already started moving.

“Well then, please.”

I placed my hand on the wall and activated the [Hideout].

“⁉”

The door appeared suddenly. The three were even more surprised as Seriana and the others entered without hesitation.

Indeed.

Seriana and the others were already aware of the [Hideout] because they knew I was hiding. They were surprised, but it was more about the mysterious appearance of a person from the ground.

I didn’t mean to surprise anyone, but the [Hideout], which is more secretive than the [Shadow Sword], hasn’t been shown to people before.

Seeing them so astonished made it worthwhile to reveal it!

The three who entered the [Hideout] were already quite astonished before entering, and even more so once inside.

It’s not surprising. They saw a door appear on a blank wall, could enter it, and found the inside brightly lit despite it being night, filled with unfamiliar and incomprehensible items.

No wonder.

While Alec was explaining the [Hideout] inside to the three, Elena and I were preparing tea in the kitchen.

Despite their astonishment, Teresa was about to help us, but she was calmly guided instead.

“It’s good we collected dishes somewhat randomly.”

“True. I didn’t expect others besides us to use this place… You never know what might happen.”

Until now, only four people had used this place, each with their own dishes.

However, during past moves and occasionally from merchants coming from the royal capital, we acquired wooden, ceramic, and porcelain dishes or cooking utensils made of bone or metal.

Seriana had bought such items as they caught her eye.

Now, with three more people using this place, there’s no problem.

We can easily accommodate them.

“I’ll carry this.”

“Please. Be careful not to spill.”

“Got it.”

Carrying the tray with cups and plates towards the living room, I found Seriana and the four who had finished their tour already seated in their usual places.

Well, even though it was called a tour, the space is quite modest—only one additional room added to the original 1LDK.

The explanation was mostly about the bathroom, so it was quick...

“I see… there aren’t enough seats.”

The women were sitting on the sofa, and the men on the floor.

Originally, it was a one-person apartment that didn’t host many guests.

The living room had a sofa set bought together as a reception set, but it was suitable for just five people at most.

It was an oversight.

I guess I’ll have to buy more seats next time.
