 "The fever is going down," Elena said, placing her hand on my forehead.

"Yeah, I'm just a bit tired. Is that... a map?"

When I looked at the table everyone was gathered around, I saw a map laid out. It wasn't of the city or the territory, but of the forest.

"Ah, it's the area we're currently developing. Did you hear about the number of monsters we've defeated? With that many taken down, this area will be empty for a while. We finished it all in just two days."

"I would have liked to leave the running around to the younger ones..."

So, Zighardt went along with Alec. They fought all night; they must be exhausted.

"Sorry to keep you waiting."

In the lounge next to the dining room, I lay on the sofa with my swollen belly, using Seriana's lap as a pillow. Even though I had a small portion, I couldn't move.

"Are you okay?"

"You ate about half of what I did. Even without considering you're recovering, you usually eat too little. You need to eat properly to grow."

"You're right..."

She's scolding me, but considering she brought me here while I was still recovering and just waking up, her tone isn't harsh.

Watching us were Ruban and the others, surprised. It's a common scene, but not for them. Ruban and August didn't expect this level of casual interaction.
