Gather Divine Coins and Gacha! - Chapter 212

"Welcome. Please come in first. We’ll have your luggage brought in."

Upon arriving at the Müller family's mansion in the capital, the old man who had been informed of our arrival greeted us.

Even after reaching the castle, the rain didn't let up. Given the short distance, I considered going alone with an umbrella, but thanks to Liesel, who had made arrangements, we were provided with a carriage.

Grateful.

The old man himself guided us to his room. Inside, Oriana was waiting, and our seats were already prepared.

"Please, have a seat."

As soon as the old man sat down, he gestured for us to sit as well, and soon after, tea was served. Although I often spend time with Seriana, it's rare for me to be the one receiving hospitality, so it felt somewhat refreshing.

"Well then... Welcome once again. Unlike two years ago, you'll be our guests for about two and a half months this time. If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask."

"Yes. I will be away from the mansion often to visit the guild and other places, but please take care of Sera during those times."

"Thank you very much."

Both Alex and I bowed our heads in response to the old man’s words... Hm?

"Wait, Alex, do you have work?"

"Yes, I also have meetings regarding castle security. Is there something you need?"

"I was hoping you'd come with me to get some introduction letters to several tool shops..."

Putting aside the organization targeting Seriana, the capital is simply crowded. On top of the usual festivities, Seriana's wedding is approaching, making it especially busy this year. Even though I'm allowed a certain degree of freedom, I've been told to avoid walking around alone.

I'm not the type to follow strangers or get involved in strange things, but you never know what might happen. I thought Alex could accompany me as both a bodyguard and a porter, but...

"I'll go with you. Seriana also asked me to look after you."

"Oh..."

If it's the old man, I can't exactly move around freely.

"Seria."

As I worried silently, Oriana, who had been listening quietly until now, spoke up.

"We also have a favor to ask of you, so please don't hesitate. You can, of course, ask me as well."

"Indeed. As you might have guessed, there are many who wish to receive your blessing. When they heard you would be coming to the capital with Seriana, they were quite insistent. We will handle some of the arrangements, but we hope you can accommodate them."

"...Alright."

It seems I'm quite popular with the older generation...

"...Seria. Seria! It's almost noon, you know?"

I heard a voice calling to wake me, accompanied by the sound of knocking on the bedroom door. I vaguely remembered ignoring the morning wake-up call as well.

It's only the second day, but I already feel like this isn't good.

"...Alright."

"I'm coming in."

Maybe my groggy response sounded suspicious, as they entered the room.

"Here's your change of clothes... You're not going out today, right? I'll choose something appropriate."

With that, they opened the wardrobe and started picking out clothes for me. I'll just leave it to them...

Looking out the window, I saw it was still raining, not heavily but steadily. I guess I'll spend the day lazily organizing my belongings.

The room I was given used to be Seriana's, complete with a reception room and bedroom. Although it was vacant, I wondered why I was given this room. They probably thought it would be convenient for me to perform [Mira’s Blessing] treatments without moving rooms, using the reception room for that purpose.

"Alright, how about this?"

They chose a simple, loose-fitting light green dress and placed it on the bed, then began helping me out of my nightclothes.

Since I'm a guest, wearing a maid uniform isn’t an option, so I'm wearing clothes I brought from the [Hideout]. The maid uniform was convenient for not having to choose what to wear, but since I'm leaving it to them, it doesn't make much difference.

"I'll bring your meal to the next room, so don't go back to bed!"

After helping me change, they said this and left the room.

Truly, a life of luxury.

Ah... I might become spoiled.
