 A few days had passed since the end of the rainy season. Now, I'm investigating the state of the town. I'm checking to see if the waterways are overflowing, if the houses are severely damaged, if anything has collapsed... basically, if there's any abnormality. Starting from the easily accessible areas, I'm inspecting the waterways that run along the inside of the town walls. In this town, the southwest, where the magistrate's residence is located, is the highest point, and the northeast church district, diagonally opposite, is the lowest. Of course, there are drainage channels connecting to the outside of the town, but they ultimately lead to the low-lying church district.
