Gather Divine Coins and Gacha! - Chapter 127
"It's about time. Sera, please bring out the 'Hideout.'"
Celiana, who had been scanning the surroundings using 'Range Identification,' gave the order. Although we had been jostling in the royal carriage for about 30 minutes since leaving the capital, it wasn't exactly comfortable, despite being a specially equipped royal carriage.
Well, it didn't bother me since I was floating...
"Alex, we're going to the 'Back.'"
Elena turned around and opened the small window to inform Alex, who was driving. 'Back' was their code for the 'Hideout.' Simple and easy to understand.
"Got it. If anything comes up, let me know, but keep an eye out from inside, too."
"Of course. You too, please."
After relaying the message, Elena turned back around.
Alex stays on the coachman's seat, huh? I've sat there before, and it's pretty hard... Maybe I should give him a cushion.
"Alright, let's go in."
We activated the 'Hideout' and all entered together. This left the carriage empty.
If this were a normal carriage, the strong guards surrounding us would probably notice we had disappeared from inside. However, this was different with the so-called armed carriage.
Despite being called 'armed,' it doesn't actually have weapons. Instead, it uses special materials to block out presence and magic. This makes it ideal for transporting important people without being detected, as is the case now. Even when tested with Akame and 'Fairy Eye,' the surroundings couldn't be seen.
Thanks to this, we can use the 'Hideout' without worry.
"Oh, we can see clearly."
When I turned on the monitor in the living room, I could see the outside of the carriage.
Our carriage led the convoy, followed by the one carrying the count and his wife along with Zighardt, then Liesel and the others' carriage, and finally, a regular carriage loaded with luggage at the rear. Surrounding the convoy were escorting knights, forming a group about 50 meters long.
At this pace, we can stay inside the 'Hideout' for the duration of the journey.
"Great. Although I feel a bit sorry for the others, we can relax inside."
Celiana glanced at the monitor, smiled lightly, and moved to her usual seat. She definitely doesn't feel bad at all...

After a lunch break and a brief rest, around 2 PM, the group arrived at the lord's mansion in the Elst territory. We would stay here for two nights, and the high-ranking officials, including Celiana, would dine and meet with Baron Halen, the lord.
We'll be staying at the lord's mansion for two nights at every territory we pass through. While this could greatly shorten the journey, considering the future relations, it's not something we can skip as we travel from the capital to Zelkis and finally to the new territory.
Celiana mentioned she would be gauging the standards of the places we visit, though she seemed somewhat reluctant. Nobles really have it tough.
"Are you okay with this arrangement?"
Alex, with me on his shoulder, asked as we headed to our accommodations.
"I'll be in a separate room from the lady, and it seems like the servants are grouped together. It’s a hassle."
More importantly, I probably won't be allowed to use my items. Being in an unfamiliar place without my 'Floating Orb' would be tough. It's not like we're in a battle, but it's still a lord's mansion... considering future relations, I can't cause a fuss.
"And you're fine with this, Alex?"
Elena and the count's entourage were staying in the mansion, while Zighardt and his party were treated as guests of honor, with rooms prepared in the mansion. Alex, however, had a private room but was in a separate building with the other knights, which wasn't quite the same.
"Heh. I still have a ways to go compared to those people. Someday, though."
He didn't seem too bothered by it.
"What about you tomorrow?"
He turned to me as if the thought had just occurred to him.
"Tomorrow?"
"Yes. The lady and the others will be shown around the town. Baron Halen's men will probably handle the escort, so I plan to take a break."
I'm a bit curious to see the town...
"I'll probably stay in my room. It sounds tiring."
I could imagine being paraded around, with shopkeepers lining up to greet us.
"No doubt."
Alex laughed, seemingly imagining the same thing, and agreed.
