Gather Divine Coins and Gacha! - Chapter 132

In the capital of Zelkis territory, dungeons are inhabited by demonic creatures.

Goblins, kobolds, orcs, and ogres, essentially humanoid monsters with two legs, are prevalent.

Each species has its usual variety, along with higher-ranking individuals, and groups led by these superior beings tend to be significantly stronger.

Differences in size are apparent even to the naked eye or with the help of "Fairy Eyes," with higher-ranking individuals being much stronger than their usual counterparts.

However, whether they're the common type or the higher-ranking ones, they're not much of a concern to me.

Goblins in the shallows are swiftly dealt with, heading towards the upper levels.

Kobolds appearing near the upper levels resemble bipedal dogs or wolves, sometimes coordinating with other groups.

I happened upon an adventurer party surrounded in combat, but other parties rushed in for assistance, ensuring their safety.

As long as I don't stop, there's hardly any difference between dealing with goblins and the rest.

Moving further up, we encountered orcs.

They're bulky fellows standing over two meters tall but resemble pigs in an odd, flattened way.

However, they possess power befitting their large stature. I once witnessed an adventurer, poorly defending, get knocked back despite holding a shield. I couldn't help but intervene.

Well, they may be strong, but unlike goblins and kobolds, they usually come in smaller numbers, around two to three at a time. And considering that any attack I receive is quite deadly, they're actually easier opponents due to their sluggishness.

Goblins, kobolds, orcs.

Frankly, they're all small fry to me.

Whether they come in large numbers or have great strength, they're not much of a challenge.

However, there's one exception: the ogres that appear from the middle levels.

While they're smaller than orcs, standing at around two meters, these guys are dangerous.

The middle levels resemble the upper levels of the royal capital's dungeon, with wide halls connecting the passages. Each room is occupied by groups of roughly 20 creatures.

Upon entering the middle levels and stepping into the hall from the passage, two of them threw stones roughly the size of my head toward me. Though I managed to dodge due to the distance, they were surprisingly fast.

What incredible arm strength...

The problem is not just avoiding direct hits, but also being cautious of the fragments that shatter upon impact with the ceiling or walls.

If one wears decent armor, it might not be much of a threat, but I'm just in regular clothes...

I later learned that ogres position individuals skilled in stone throwing around the perimeter of their groups. They relentlessly hurl stones from a distance.

To fight ogres, one should have someone sturdy with a shield at the front to break through the passage swiftly, take down the stone throwers, and then advance inward.

However, there's usually a boss in the center of the group, and as you move further in, you encounter stronger individuals, making it not so easy to defeat them all...

The difficulty spikes drastically from dealing with orcs, and since it's more efficient to explore with a small party up to the upper levels, those who lack experience in large-scale expeditions stumble here.

I stumbled too.

Since the talk of colonization began, it seems there has been an increase in adventurers coming to Zelkis.

Before fully embarking on their expedition, most of them seem to be honing their skills in the capital's dungeon, residing within the capital's vicinity and visiting the dungeon daily.

Their main goal is colonization, not dungeon exploration, so they wander around the upper levels without delving deep into serious exploration. In other words, it's insanely crowded.

As a retainer of the Müller family, I can't just push them aside and hunt, so I reluctantly attempt to challenge the middle levels, only to retreat without breaking through the passages, repeating the process.

"Excuse me."

In Celeriana's room, Celeriana is writing while Elena assists her. It's the usual lazy afternoon, and a servant enters the room.

"What's up?"

"Yes. You have a visitor, sir. They're waiting in the west reception room on the first floor."

My guest has come all the way to the lord's mansion... Here they come!

"I'll be right there!"

Just you wait... you ogres!
