When one person answered the question, everyone around was surprised and delighted.

It’s still raining outside, and Elena and Alex returned home before nightfall, leaving only me and Seriana in the room. It’s just like a chat, so I had her lie face down on the bed while I used the Blessing of Mira on her.

"What about those two?"

"I’ve subtly hinted at it, but neither of them has much interaction with the mansion’s people yet, so they don’t quite get it. Ah, Alex seems popular, though."

Alex had suggested rethinking it, but was ultimately swayed by teaming up with Seriana.

The engagement was arranged by Elena’s father, and Alex worked hard to gain his approval. Considering the honor of both sides, it’s something that couldn’t be helped.

However, as things are now, Alex is supposed to take on various jobs in this new territory and build up achievements, including the subjugation of demons and gaining titles in the adventurer’s registry, which is more than expected.

Next year, when they head to the capital, they’ll replenish the guards in the domain, and Elena’s father is set to be the captain of the guard unit. Initially, Seriana and the others were to marry and then register in the new territory, but if things proceed smoothly at this pace, they might be able to settle it before heading to the capital. That’s the discussion going on.

There’s still about half a year, and if they can establish public opinion here confirming the marriage, they can spread it to the domain. Seriana thought this would be a good idea. Though it stumbled at the first step, people love romantic stories, so it should spread by winter.
