This directory is treated with a bit more leniency compared to the Demon King directory and is also kept at the regional guild branches. Though it cannot be taken out, it can be viewed upon request. There are also editions that include only the new additions and changes, and sometimes the cover and binding are customized.

So, it's possible to refuse being listed in this directory. It seems the guild guarantees your status and ability, and if you have an exclusive contract, the noble you work for would handle that guarantee, making it unnecessary.

The kind of tasks that would require an experienced adventurer would be subjugating demons within the territory, gathering rare materials, or personal security and long-distance escorts...

None of these tasks suit me.

Since they'll be entering the forest, they probably want to proceed while strong individuals like Alex and Zighart are around.
