My favorite hunting ground in the shallow part of the dungeon near the capital.

Instead of crushing the cores of the cow-like monsters that come out there with Shadow Sword in one blow, I've been decapitating them with Crimson Bee Needle after charging, a different way of defeating them than usual.

Because that way, the corpses remain.

And then, Akame burrows into the heads of those remaining corpses.

Stretching out from my shadow as I approach, it burrows into the corpses, crushes the cores, then moves on to another corpse to do the same... repeating this process over ten times.

It drops a few relics, but shows no interest in them at all.

It seems to be targeting only the cores.

It doesn't seem to be feeling unwell or anything, so I guess there's no problem...

I was planning to come back the day after tomorrow, but maybe it's better to wait a little longer just to be safe?

More importantly, although they probably think they're hiding, and indeed I wouldn't have noticed on my own, some people have been watching us the whole time.

I spotted them peering over the wall while we were fighting.
